When little girls go shopping.

The girls found this car in a thrift shop last week. It came together with its original box from 1970- something. Not bad for 1 Euro. They did not want to let go of it so it came home with us. But mummy liked it to so it was ok!

Birthday cake.

My sister turned 18 while she was here visiting so we made a delicious cream and strawberry cake for her. Turned out really good. The girls eat like crazy!!

Crafting with my little sister.

My younger sister has been visiting and she wanted me to make her a key change/jewelry to hang on her new bag. While I made this one she made a felt "bug" to also decorate the bag.

Bead necklace.

The girls like to play with necklaces. But one is not enough. It has to be all at once! So I have been making some using plastic and wooden beads. The favorites turned out to be the two with the plastic animals glued on.

Play Dough.

The girls and me bought play dough last Friday. It was a great success and the the only thing they wanted to play with the whole weekend.

One more.

New fabric.

It is a cover for a sunbed, or actually there where 2, that I found in a thrift shop yesterday. It has never been used so I am going to wash it and then hopefully it can be turned in to a new handbag. Or rather a "baby bag" to be used when we are out and about, me and the girls.

A gift I sent off last year.

"Pillowcase" dress. Pillowcase and ribbons from local thrift stores.

Dream catcher.
Saga is the name of the little girl that received the gift!

Medicine cabinet

Cabinet from IKEA, super glue and a lot of red buttons. I like buttons, can you tell?!

Pay it forward...

As I am going to get something really nice from http://kokos-flanell.blogspot.com/ I am now posting this as well. Mind you I live in Spain so sending it might take some time.

In swedish:

Alltså: de första 3 personerna som lämnar en kommentar på detta inlägg får sig en handgjord present hemskickad. I gengäld krävs att de själva lägger ut ett PIF-inlägg på sin blogg.

PAY IT FORWARD:
”I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF exchange. I don´t know what that gift will be yet and you may not receive it tomorrow or next week, but you will receive it within 365 days, that is my promise! The only thing you have to do in return is pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog.”

And here is the finished product!

New design.

I have been working on a new design for brooches. So much fun to work with felt and all my vintage buttons. Even the tread is a thrift find!

I LOVE thrift stores!!
